US Rockwell B-1 Plane Refueling

Air refueling from a KC-135 Stratotanker for a US Rockwell B-1 plane during a training mission. The B-1 Lancer is a strategic plane with variable wing geometry used by the United States Air Force (USAF) since 1986. Initially conceived in the 1960s as a supersonic plane with a sufficient range and payload for replacing the Boeing B-52 Stratofortress, finally in the 1980s it was primarily developed to raids at low altitude, with also a capacity of long-range supersonic flight high altitude.
