Gorilla Remembers a Girl It Had Not Seen for 12 Years

Humans and gorillas are reunited after not seeing each other for many years. In the African jungle, conservationist Damian Aspinall, along with his daughter Tansy Aspinall, search for Djalta and Bimms, two western lowland gorillas born at Howletts Wild Animal Park in Kent. In 2003, Djalta and Bimms were released into the forest of Gabon, West Africa as part of a conservation program to re-introduce gorillas back to the wild. The girl Tansy Aspinall had not seen the gorillas for 12 years.
