Playing an Iron Age Celtic Horn

Music experts have created a replica of an iron age Celtic horn used in warfare. The Carnyx, is a wind instrument of the Iron Age Celts used in warfare between 200 BC and 200 AD to incite troops to battle and intimidate opponents, imagine 1,000 of these instruments playing at the same time. The Carnyx was a type of bronze trumpet with an elongated S shape and the bell is styled in the shape of an open-mouthed boar’s head or other animal.
