The Different Seasons of New York’s Central Park

This incredible timelapse project mesmerizingly mixes footage of Central Park across all four seasons into one seamless video. Whether it be winter snow in the background, autumnal leaves on the trees, or pedestrians rowing boats in glorious summer sunshine, all can feature in a single frame of Tyler Fairbank’s flowing video. Committed Tyler spent a staggering two years capturing the necessary footage for his one-of-a-kind project, “The Seasons of Central Park,” which require incredible precision and replication in order to make it a success. Tyler, 28, who is currently based in New York but is originally from Lake Tahoe, California, said that in order to make sure all four seasons could work in the same frame, he would take dozens of images with a second camera, so that he could return to the same spot a few months later and continue to film.
