Freak Hailstorm in Guadalajara Mexico

Freak hailstorm drops 5 feet (1.5m) of hail in a matter of hours over night Sunday in Guadalajara Mexico after daytime temps were 90°F (31°C). Meteorologists say atmospheric instability is to blame, as high heat at ground level coincided with strong humidity at higher altitudes. The governor of Jalisco state said that despite damage to 200 businesses and over 50 vehicles, no humans were injured.
